Dillon & Keegan: Part 2


In order to make the wax more columnar in shape we developed a few new strategies to create new structural elements. One of these included pumping wax in from the bottom of the water to have it rise towards the top from the bottom. Other techniques involved a pouring of wax while moving the (now) hardening wax downwards to stretch it the material. Some variations of this technique involve simultaneous pouring of multiple sources and another in which we do singular trials, and each new addition of wax is included once the previous one has solidified.
